1. Policy Scope
These terms explain how SkillBloom handles digital orders, product access, delivery issues, and refund requests.
SkillBloom provides digital resources for educators, institutions, and learning professionals. These resources may include curriculum packs, e-learning kits, competency maps, educator portfolios, study systems, and other education-focused materials supplied entirely in digital form.
No physical products are shipped, collected, exchanged, or returned.
2. Nature of the Products Sold
All products offered by SkillBloom are digital goods. They may be delivered as downloadable files, online resources, portal-based materials, account-access products, or other electronically supplied content.
Because these resources are digital, they can usually be accessed, saved, duplicated, and used shortly after payment. For that reason, they are treated differently from physical merchandise and are not returnable in the ordinary sense.
3. When Delivery Is Complete
A purchase is considered fulfilled once SkillBloom has made the product available through its normal digital delivery method. This may include a download page, email delivery, customer account, protected resource area, course space, or another online access route used by SkillBloom.
Delivery is complete once the file, link, login information, or access instructions have been provided. It is not necessary for the buyer to download, open, or start using the product for the order to count as delivered.
Customers are responsible for entering correct purchase details, including a valid email address and any information needed to receive access.
4. Final Sale Standard
All SkillBloom purchases are generally made on a final-sale basis.
Once access to a digital product has been granted, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, and reversals are not normally available. This rule applies because digital products cannot be meaningfully returned after they have been delivered or made accessible.
By completing a purchase, the customer accepts that delivery of digital content completes the transaction unless a limited exception described below applies.
5. Cases That May Be Considered for Review
Although orders are generally final, SkillBloom may review a request where there is a verified issue directly related to billing or delivery. Review may be considered in limited situations such as:
-
more than one charge for the same product caused by a duplicate transaction
-
a technical problem on the SkillBloom side that prevented access to the purchased product
-
a file that is corrupted, incomplete, or unusable and cannot be corrected through replacement or re-delivery
Where one of these issues is confirmed, SkillBloom may first attempt to solve the matter by restoring access, resending the product, replacing the file, or correcting the billing issue. A refund may be considered only where another practical solution is not available.
Any decision on how to resolve such a case will be made based on the circumstances of the order and the issue reported.
6. Situations That Do Not Support a Refund
A refund will not be issued because a customer changed their mind, no longer needs the product, or later decides the resource does not suit their personal or institutional preferences.
Refunds are also not available where the issue results from not reviewing the product details before purchase, misunderstanding the intended use of the material, lacking the time or expertise to implement it, or expecting outcomes not specifically promised on the product page.
Customer-side technical issues such as unsupported software, incompatible devices, local access restrictions, storage problems, browser limitations, or incorrect purchase information are also outside refund eligibility unless the product fails to match an express statement made by SkillBloom.
7. Buyer Review Responsibilities
Before placing an order, customers should review the product page carefully. This includes checking what the product contains, how it is delivered, its intended use, and any relevant limitations, requirements, or licensing terms.
SkillBloom aims to present product information clearly so buyers can make informed decisions. The customer remains responsible for deciding whether a product is suitable for their own educational, institutional, or professional purpose before completing checkout.
8. Access Responsibility After Purchase
Once access has been issued, the customer is responsible for maintaining their download details, account access, login information, and any downloaded files.
Unless a product page expressly promises ongoing hosted storage or continued account availability, SkillBloom does not guarantee permanent storage of purchased materials on behalf of the customer. Customers should securely save and back up their files where appropriate.
Loss of access caused by customer-side deletion, forgotten credentials, internal account handling, or local device failure does not create a right to a refund.
9. Compatibility and Technical Environment
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their device, browser, software, and technical environment are suitable for accessing and using standard digital products.
SkillBloom is not responsible for customer-side problems involving incompatible systems, outdated software, restricted institutional environments, blocked downloads, email filtering, internet limitations, or similar conditions outside its control.
10. Intended Use and Outcome Limitations
SkillBloom products are designed to support teaching, planning, curriculum work, learning design, professional organization, and educational implementation. However, results will differ depending on context, user skill, institutional environment, learner needs, and how the materials are applied.
For that reason, SkillBloom does not guarantee any specific instructional result, academic outcome, certification outcome, institutional improvement, learner performance gain, or professional advancement from use of its resources.
11. License Granted With Purchase
A purchase gives the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the product in line with the purpose and scope described on the relevant product page.
Unless otherwise stated, this right is limited to the customer’s permitted personal, professional, internal team, or organizational use. The purchase does not transfer ownership of the product or any underlying intellectual property rights.
All copyrights and related rights remain with SkillBloom unless explicitly transferred in writing.
12. Restrictions on Sharing and Redistribution
Products purchased from SkillBloom may not be resold, redistributed, republished, sublicensed, shared outside the permitted user scope, uploaded to public repositories, or reproduced for unauthorized circulation without prior written approval.
This includes sharing files with unauthorized users, forwarding protected access links, distributing paid curriculum resources beyond the licensed use, or repackaging SkillBloom materials for resale or external delivery.
Unauthorized use or distribution may result in revoked access, canceled usage rights, refusal of future purchases, or further action where appropriate.
13. Support for Delivery Problems
If a customer has trouble reaching a purchased product, SkillBloom may provide reasonable assistance to help complete delivery. This may include resending a link, restoring account access, confirming delivery records, or offering another appropriate access method.
Such support is intended to ensure proper delivery of the purchased product. It does not by itself create a right to a refund.
14. Payment Disputes
If a billing issue is believed to exist, the customer should contact SkillBloom first so the matter can be reviewed directly.
If a chargeback or outside payment dispute is opened after digital access has been provided, SkillBloom may rely on order records, billing confirmations, delivery logs, and access history in responding to that dispute. Where a dispute conflicts with confirmed delivery or appears abusive, access may be restricted and future orders may be limited.
15. Updates to Products and Policy Terms
SkillBloom may revise, improve, reorganize, replace, or discontinue products, delivery systems, and support materials over time. Unless a product page specifically states otherwise, a purchase does not include a promise of future versions, later editions, additional modules, or continuing updates.
SkillBloom may also revise this policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, operational, or product-related changes. The version posted on the website will govern from the time it is published.
16. Purchase Confirmation
By ordering from SkillBloom, the customer confirms that the transaction concerns digital content, that delivery is completed once access is provided, and that the order is governed by these digital sales and access terms.
